In today’s letter, I’m sharing with you 6 tips to elevate your personal style, no matter how much you care about what you are wearing. I even made us a moodboard1
Whether you want to think about it or not, there is gonna be a September You. For me, it gives a chill vibe, yet it’s modern, yet it’s minimal. It says effortless and yet put together. It says mindful and yet laid-back. It says grounded and yet elevated.
Okay, I hear you: you think it’s superficial, and we don’t have time for this, we are busy learning how to love and how to be loved. But feeling great in the way you dress and project yourself has a role to play in your ability to love and be loved. When you feel good, you do good, you feel radiant, and you feel connected to your individual and universal purpose.
6 Styling Tips for The September You
#6 FRESHNESS: investing in a new T-shirt: in white, off-white or grey
Why? You’ll be using it as a first layer for the next few months, under an open shirt, a cardigan, a jacket, or a crewneck sweater. You don’t want an overstretched neckline. If you want something lightweight, that is extra soft and well-made:
#5 FEMININE TOUCH: elongating the silhouette with small heels and pointed toes
It gives back to business vibe while adding a touch of modernity and femininity. It makes you taller. It elongates the silhouette with an interesting point of view. It’s effortlessly guiding the eyes. And it’s comfortable because it’s a 2cm heel only. Say no more:
#4 MONOCHROME: creating interest
I don’t think anyone can master a monochrome, especially full black, silhouette. I’m also showing you options for a full off-white outfit. Here is the secret: bring something interesting and unexpected. Tie a blazer or a thin jacket around your waist, add a crossbody bag, and wear flat shoes:
#3 BELT IT: adding interest around your waistline
This says it all: whatever you’re wearing, belt it! With a belt, a jacket, a sweater, or a waist pouch.
#2 BLUE + BROWN: mixing and matching
Both blue and brown give a classic vibe, but here are ways to make it modern and chill. Mix the textures, and create some unexpected visual elements.
#1 PROPORTIONS: big, slim, skin
“Stylistically speaking, striking that just right balance between proportions is the secret sauce. It’s really that simple: mix something big with something slim, and show a bit of skin for breathing room, whether it’s a rolled-up sleeve or a flash of ankle.” (Tibictionary)
As a reminder, the sweater/sandals weather is perfect for this!
May you feel excited and inspired for the upcoming weeks. Let me know if you have any questions, I love to help out.
Bless you
Ardas Chandra

Thank you for reading 😎
I am really excited for sweater and sandal season. I will say I love the monochrome. I think your fashion language has turned me into a cashmere rising (previously Scorpio rising)!
