"The fewer tools you have, the more creative you have to be with them."
Rick Rubin
Style, not stuff. Let’s make the most out of what you already have. It’s not about whether it looks good, but whether it feels good to you. That feeling of ease, alignment, and quiet confidence is what makes your presence magnetic. Effortlessly You.
Think about packing a suitcase for a holiday. You only have so much space. You can’t bring your whole wardrobe, so you become more intentional. You choose versatile pieces that feel like you, that can be dressed up or down, layered or contrasted. What you're doing isn’t an act of addition, it’s an act of multiplication. Each item isn't just one outfit: it becomes many. The magic comes from how pieces interact, transform, and respond to the moment you're in.
Trust me when I say that styling can become a tool for (divine) self-expression. Take it as a daily experiment. We have only 3 ways to communicate who we are and what matters to us: what we say, what we do, and how we look. To feel great, align your words, your actions, and your visuals at all times.
I find it beautiful that getting dressed can make me feel home no matter where I am in the world and who I am with. I am my home. And so are you!
May this letter inspire you to experiment more!
Key pieces:
white T-shirt, grey T-shirt, dark brown T-shirt
2 pairs of sunglasses
cami tops, bikinis, and one-piece swimming suit that can double as a top
oversized shirts (to be worn as a jacket, as a beach cover-up, as a shirt, as a blouse, etc.) — so many styling opportunities
light blue denim (or white or ecru), flowy linen trousers, shorts (one short, one long)
flat sandals and flip flops — barely there shoes (it gives skin and slim)
raffia bag that can be a travel bag, a shopping/market bag, or a beach/pool bag — all at once
a big scarf (in cotton voile) (can be a top, a scarf, a headscarf, a blanket, or a sarong..)
As you go through the images, train your eyes to understand styling as a play on proportions. I refer to the concept of Big/Slim/Skin as a way to bring balance. If it looks balanced, you’re most likely to feel balanced as well, grounded within yourself while open to new ideas. See how your eyes travel over the whole silhouette. And have fun imagining where I’m going (play? work? brunch? pool?)! This will help you to get dressed for the moment. Promise!
Here I’m offering you 24 outfit ideas to help train your eye and your intuition. I’ll be linking what is still available online this season.
