My intention is to blow your mind with this post. Shall we make a pact that you'll share your thoughts once you've finished reading?
The Universe doesn’t want you to try harder. It wants you to breathe, let go, be open to things being easier and more magical than you could ever imagine. Those who flow as the universe flows know they need no other force. Align with the Cosmos. Let the magic happen.
Life gets easier when we embrace Effort and Surrender as creative muses, finding our sweet spot between extremes.
Today's game in The Light Letter: "Find The Sweet Spot", inspired by the Fall Equinox.
The Equinox invites balance between:
Surrender and Effort
Heart and Mind
Light and Darkness
Giving and Receiving
Money and Creative Expression
Day and Night
White and Black
Input and Output
Adventure and Safety
The golden mean, a desirable middle ground between excess and deficiency, materializes when you embrace your authenticity and grant others the same freedom — when you allow yourself to be yourself, and allow others to do the same. In this enchanting sweet spot, life flows effortlessly, the Universe stands by your side, and everything harmoniously aligns. Rest assured, what is meant for you will find you (for it’s already yours).
Unlock Your Sweet Spot:
Try a 3-5 minute breathing practice to start with. It will bring you back into balance and anchor you in the body.
Grab your pen and paper, then follow the 3-step process (keep reading, there is a bonus question):
Take inventory
Define your "want-to"
Set your compass
Bonus: What if?
When you claim, "I don't have time," you're subtly saying, "I don't want to". Creating time is your superpower. Maximize your gains by taking action while reading this. Get your notebook ready, I’ll see you on the other side.
I. Take inventory
Reflect on what's weighing you down.
List and release burdens like unmet expectations, delayed tasks, and unproductive goals. Release, let them go to free up energy.
A prosperity practice. Transform your living space (your home is your personal planet) by decluttering, thanking items for their service, and rearranging furniture and the content of your bag and wallet thoughtfully (how is your kitchen sink right now?)
Visualize a lighter, happier future self after shedding the weight.
II. Identify your want-to
Write down what you want on a blank page.
Write down what you want again on a new blank page.
Write down what you really, really want on a third blank page.
Read your answers and check out the post “How’s the Wanting Going?” for a powerful demonstration of the unleashed power of owning your desires (the book On Our Best Behavior is a must-read for anyone with a heartbeat).
When you love something, it feels effortless—one step, just do it.
When you dislike it, you envision a daunting process and get stuck in "how to".
Check how you feel about your "want-to" lists. See one enjoyable step? That’s it, just do it! See an endless, tedious list? Be real, you don’t want to have it, so let it go!
III. Set your compass
Fast Forward into the Future. It’s September 23, 2024 - our Next Fall Equinox Meeting. Reflect on your progress this past year. What has made you so happy with your life now? Write it down.
Create 2 columns: Left: "Be, Do, Have Less" Right: "Be, Do, Have More". Define your standards and outline your choices and actions needed to reach your desired future when we meet again in a year. Find your sweet spot between effort and surrender, giving and receiving, input and output, money and creative expression, adventure and safety, etc.
Focus on one direction for the next 3 months (Winter Solstice) rather than spreading yourself thin with 10 directions. What's your committed direction?
IV. What if…
What if I never write to you again? What if I never see you again? My question: What would make you enjoy life more?
If you've read this far, you're my kind of person ❤️ Email me at ardaschandra@gmail.com, say hello, and share your answer. It would mean the world to me — let’s give and take from each other, that’s how we can create something new, something magical, something that could not exist with us coming together.
Don’t try harder, be open to things being easier and more magical than you could ever imagine — you don’t go with the flow: YOU ARE THE FLOW.
Bless you,
Ardas Chandra
Dear Ardas Chandra, after having such a magical meditation this morning, an deeply haven chosen not to run to stay an give the place I am at my entire presence as long as I chose to proceed, every wonderful word and presence you gave here in your writing was resonating and made me even lighter. I want to travel to my journal and find what I wrote on that day. Re-read what my soul was trying to tell me then. Such a transformational letter!
